Accepting these terms
By accessing or using Revisly, you agree to these terms and the privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Revisly for a school or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
The service and early access
Revisly helps users practise answers on uploaded papers, review their work, and receive AI-assisted feedback and tutoring. Early-access features may be incomplete, change without notice, contain errors, or be removed. We may introduce limits or paid features later, but we will explain material charges before they apply.
Accounts and eligibility
Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account unless the law says otherwise. Younger users must have any permission required by local law from a parent, guardian, school, or other responsible adult.
Your papers and answers
You keep ownership of content you upload or create. You give Revisly a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide the content.
Do not upload confidential personal data, restricted exam material, or third-party content when you do not have permission to use it.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law or another person's rights;
- attempt to access another user's account, files, or data;
- upload malware or interfere with the service or its security;
- scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass service limits;
- use Revisly to cheat where an assessment forbids assistance; or
- misrepresent AI-generated feedback as an official mark or decision.
AI feedback is advisory
AI-generated detection, marking, explanations, and tutoring can be inaccurate or incomplete. They are study aids, not official grades, teacher assessments, professional advice, or guarantees of exam performance. Check important feedback against the source paper, mark scheme, and guidance from a qualified teacher.
Third-party services
Revisly relies on third-party infrastructure and may link to external services. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.
Revisly materials
Revisly and its licensors own the service, software, design, branding, and materials we provide, excluding your content. These terms give you a limited, personal, revocable right to use the service; they do not transfer intellectual-property ownership to you.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Revisly available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the service. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice of a material discontinuation.
Disclaimers and liability
Revisly is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Revisly at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms, create a security or legal risk, or misuse the service. Provisions that logically continue after termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and liability terms, will survive.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law that applies to Revisly's operator and your use of the service, subject to any mandatory consumer rights in your country. Before relying on a specific court or dispute process, contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will post the new version here and change the date above. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms where the law permits.
